Original AURORA Indy Racer – Gran Prix Racer New-Old-Stock (NOS) ThunderJet 500 chassis – Manufactured date in 1970 as the box indicates. I personally picked these up at REH Distributing in Cincinnati, Oh around 2003. I have been buying HO Slot Car items from REH since 1988 – first from Bob Haines himself and then later from his daughter Kim. About the chassis’ – most of you who are reading this know all about these T-Jet chassis’ and also know that the “lettered” chassis are usually the best for racing as well. E, F, G and H chassis are in the case I am going through now, and they will be picked at random. Each chassis will be lightly oiled & tested, just to make sure they run. If you do not want me to do that, please ask. About myself… My first Aurora ThunderJet Race Set was Christmas 1966 and I have been messing with them since…and for the last 20+ years have been an very active member of the Central Ohio HO Racing Association. I have had an eBay presence since 2000 under AdelphiAuction, but having just retired in 2023, I am ready to sell a lot of my personal slot car stuff. So, I have taken the SlotCarRacer HO Raceway name. In order to get some positive feedback, I will offer about 30-50 of these chassis’ at the $50 price. Also, I will offer regular shipping for now, as I don’t believe that someone who lives closer to me should have to “compensate” for those living further away.
