THE WIZARD OF OZ SERIES 1 PREMIUM TRADING CARDS: LIMITED EDITION “PRINTING PLATE” CARD SET (all 4 COLORS) FOR A CARD BACK! NEVER RELEASED – NEVER SOLD TO THE PUBLIC This is a very unique listing. This is a set of all four ACTUAL METAL PRINTING PLATES that were used to create a card that was in the THE WIZARD OF OZ SERIES 1 trading card release by Breygent Marketing in 2006. Printing Plates from this series were sold directly by the Manufacturer, but only images from the card FRONTS were ever sold. This listing is for an UNRELEASED – NEVER BEFORE OFFERED FOR SALE – Card Back Version. And you get all 4 colors to the one printing card, for a complete set (a standard base card for this same number is also included). Because of the final printing colors, the plates vary in content. Black Plate: Has All Text, but no Card Title or Card Number. Magenta Plate: Has Card Title, Card Number, No Text Yellow Plate: Has Card Title, Card Number, No Text Cyan Plate: Has No Text at all The number of the card that is on these plates is listed in the item’s title. Metal “Printing Plate” cards are fast becoming one of the most sought after collectibles in the non-sports card hobby due to their rarity. These metal plates are used in the actual creation of a trading card. Four different plates (each in 1 of 4 colors needed) are used to make a finished card. After the cards are printed, the metal plates are cut into trading card size by the printer. These plates were never prepared for sale to the public so there is no plastic holder and no company stickers on the backs of the plates. Winner agrees to send payment within 7 days.
