The California Highway Patrol Museum is dedicated to preserving the past, protecting the future and, most importantly, honoring those officers who have given their lives in service to the State of California. We have ongoing projects to restore and preserve cars and motorcycles from CHP history, as well as projects to document the lives of the CHP pioneers and to catalog the artifacts found in the museum’s collections. The items listed on Ebay are duplicates or not relative to the collection. The CHP Museum is an independent organization that receives no state funding. We rely on donations from the public and our business partners. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your donation may be tax deductible, as allowed by law. We were incredibly fortunate to receive a donation of a large collection of toy/model law enforcement cars, most in their original packaging (thank you Linda). We will be listing these over the next several months to help raise money for the CHP Museum. This auction is for a Testors metal model kit (Kit #215) for making a police interceptor for one of three police departments (New York, Denver or Chicago). The car is packaged in its original, shrink-wrapped box. The box has warped significantly under the shrink wrap and there is a tear to the wrap along one side.
