This is the 2008 Polymer note from Zambia in the 500 Kwacha denomination. Similar to the earlier versions of the note, it shows the fish eagle, an elephants head and some field workers as well as the omnipresent Chainbreaker Statue. The catalog number is Zambia 44f. DIMPLES: Modern notes with heavy security strips sometimes develop “dimples” as the notes are counted in high-speed counters at the printers. According to PMG and IBNS, this does not disqualify the note as uncirculated. If you are looking for specimens with mild dimpling, please contact me first. Post-production flaws like counting ticks and band bending are considered flaws in an UNC note. I will specify such notes as A-UNC and note the specific damage.
